I thought the classroom strategy used in this video was simple, but effective. The teacher terms the strategy a ‘Do Now’.
This is a great way to transition your students from a break such as lunch to setting to task quickly. It is an introductory activity that should link with what students have been learning (consolidation), but also transition to the next new concept.
I think this could work well with upper primary and secondary students.
