(Read on for a FREEBIE at the end :-D)

Well it’s only one more sleep until the London 2012 Olympic Games are here (27 July – 12 August, 2012). I love watching the Olympics and really get into the spirit of the Games. I have always used the Olympics as a platform to inspire my students to learn about other countries, the history of the Games and the many sports on show.

I have been working really hard on getting ready an Olympic Games Activity pack. It’s not quite finished yet, but should be up at my Teachers Pay Teachers Store by tomorrow night (well that’s the plan anyway!)

The activities are designed for Years 3-5 students (8-10 years), but you may find that some lessons could be appropriate for other year levels as well. There are some English, Math and Integrated Olympic activities.

So, without further ado, here’s a bit of a sneak peek of what you will find in my Olympic Games Activity Pack.
