Well it appears I’ve been nominated for my first blog award ;-). I hadn’t heard of the Liebster Award before, so after doing a quick Google search I soon learned…

Well it appears I’ve been nominated for my first blog award ;-). I hadn’t heard of the Liebster Award before, so after doing a quick Google search I soon learned that it is similar to an old school chain letter. You’re required to do certain things and then nominate some other blogs to link to and pass on to.

Well I thought that it sounded quite fun, and considering there is another person out there that reads my blog and took the time to nominate and link to me, then the least I can do is participate.

The Liebster Award is given by bloggers to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. It is to show new bloggers that they are appreciated and to help spread the word about new blogs.

I love eating crinkle cut hot chips with chicken salt and vinegar.
I HATE cooking.
I prefer hot weather to cold and rainy weather.
I love taking my Little Miss Two to café’s for afternoon tea.
I think I’m allergic to exercise.
I’m addicted to Facebook and Pinterest.
I’ve been married for 5 years.
My hubby and I went to the Maldives for our honeymoon, wow it was totally amazing. Check out the picture below.
My ultimate shopping day would be to spend hours at Office Works.
I’m on the downhill slope to 40 🙁

Questions From Pat For Me To Answer

1. What’s your guilty TV pleasure?
Well where do I start…there are so many ;-). At the moment I’m really into True Blood, Grey’s Anatomy, Revenge, Downton Abbey and Offspring.

2. What is your favourite movie of all time?
Mmmmm not sure that I have a favourite movie of all time, but some of the ones that I really enjoyed include: The Shawshank Redemption, Grease and Gone With The Wind.

3. What is your favourite book of all time?
I have three: Again, Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell, The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay and Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon. I was lucky enough to attend a talk by Diana Gabaldon, she was very witty and intelligent and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her talk about the Cross Stitch series.

4. What is your favourite holiday and why?
I think going to Los Angeles and Disneyland is at the top of the list. Well if you’ve ever been to Disneyland, then no explanation is needed. I’m not really sure why I liked LA, must be where we stayed, it was kind of chic.

5. As a teacher, what is a strength of yours?
Definitely that I’m organised. Because of this if a lesson turned out to be a disaster, it was never too big a deal as I always had a back up plan.

6. Describe your favourite dessert.
I love a home-made apple pie with cream and custard.

7. What describes your home decorating style?
I don’t have a style…

8. If you could meet a celebrity, who would it be?
Actually I don’t really have a burning desire to meet a celebrity…maybe I’ll go with a hottie: Eric from True Blood.

9. What do you hope to receive for your next birthday?
I haven’t really thought that far ahead, but I could do with a new iPhone. I’ve got the old 3GS and I think it’s on its last legs.

10. What is something that you learned recently?
I learned how to start a blog….wow what a huge learning curve.

11. What is your favourite subject to teach?
I have a few: art, mathematics and computing.
