Guess what?…..Teachers Pay Teachers is having a big sale, and I’m inviting you along.

How it works

For two days only, many stores will be discounting their products. This is a Back to School Sale, but if you’re in Australia like me, it’s not back to school but rather mid-term :D. The sale will take place between August 12 and 13. I will be discounting all of the items in my store by 20%. On top of that, you can also receive a further 10% of savings using the coupon code: BTS12.

Put these dates in your diaries so you don’t forget. Remember if you’re not in America you will need to check the time zone differences.

Check out the end of my post where I have a downloadable list of stores (and their blogs) that are participating.

New Product – Spelling Activities

I have been working really hard on getting my latest item ready, just in time for the big sale.

If you’re feeling a bit tired with your spelling program, then this will be perfect for you. I have created a set of spelling activities that use a learning centre and is based on the three-storey intellect.

spelling activities

This spelling learning centre is designed for Grades 4 – 8 students. It is best implemented with a fortnightly spelling program.

The three-storey intellect recognises three different levels of thinking including:

1. Gathering information;

2. Processing information; and

3. Applying information.

Each of the spelling activities in the centre has been classified into one of these levels. Students are required to complete a different levelled activity each day for a fortnight.

Students are provided with a ‘spelling contract’. These inform the students of the activity they are required to complete for each day. The contract also lists 3 personal challenge tasks. These are more detailed tasks that students need to complete in the fortnight (after they have completed the daily activities).

The spelling activities include:
